OUR STORY
ABOUT PRASTUTI DESIGNS
Prastuti Designs is not just a brand; it is a heartfelt journey born from a deep love for Indian embroidery and sarees. It began with my mother’s passion for hand embroidery and her gift for weaving stories through thread and fabric. With just four sarees and an unshakable belief in her craft, she built the foundation of Prastuti—rooted in sincerity, artistry, and trust.
Over time, Prastuti has grown into a cherished name, known for its exquisite hand embroidery styles such as Petite Point, Gara, and French Knot. Every piece—whether a saree, shawl, or suit—is crafted with care, precision, and the finest materials. We follow the philosophy of slow fashion, creating heirlooms that are timeless, sustainable, and meaningful.

Our Vision
Today, under the creative guidance of Anshul Gupta, Prastuti continues to celebrate the richness of Indian craftsmanship by blending traditional techniques with contemporary design. From Kanjivaram sarees adorned with Petite Point to Chikankari reimagined with modern details, each creation reflects innovation and authenticity.
For us, Prastuti is more than fashion—it is a promise to preserve India’s embroidery heritage, nurture its artisans, and share the timeless beauty of handcraft with the world.
Our Eternal guide
Prastuti began in 1992 with the vision and quiet strength of our guiding light. Her love for hand embroidery and traditional textiles became the heart of our family’s craft, shaping a journey that we feel proud to continue today.
Her values of sincerity, honesty, and devotion to the craft continue to define every piece we create. We are deeply grateful for the path she laid for us, and Prastuti stands today because of her faith in this art and her belief that beauty lies in slow, thoughtful creation.
As we carry her journey forward, we hold her spirit at the heart of our work. This brand is her gift to us, and we are committed to honouring it with integrity, love, and a promise to remain true to our customers. Prastuti is not just our heritage; it is a lineage we are proud to preserve and nurture for years to come.
